I recently stayed at a hotel in Bratislava that exceeded my expectations. The hotel's attention to detail was fantastic. From the prices, which were very reasonable, to the friendly and helpful staff, everything was top-notch. The location of the hotel on the waterfront of a small lake was absolutely beautiful. It provided a stunning view and a peaceful atmosphere that made my stay incredibly relaxing.
One minor improvement could be made in terms of the rooms' cleanliness. While the rooms were basic and comfortable, a little more attention to cleaning would have been appreciated.

Free parking (in the sun) and nice view of the lake.
Breakfast is pathetic, staff is completely confused. First the check-in lasted about half an hour (tried to overcharge it) but even with that much time they managed to mess it up so when we returned from the visit to the city center, for another half hour they wouldn't let us in our room (paid on check-in) because 'we have to pay for another night bla bla bla... Turns out to be the case of mistaken identity, but why make it my problem? We were totally unimpressed by Bratislava so I can't say this incident spoiled my stay...

The people behind the reception were very helpfull, always polite and accessable. The place at the lake is very nice.
The TV´s in the rooms are very old, small and don´t have any channels from other countries, only Slovakian. The rooms are clean, but the furniture and style is very old communistic. Even from outside the building looks, as if it would fall into pieces at any given time. Its not possible to consume something in the restaurants or bar and have it on the hotel bill. And many little things more.

Great value for money and easy parking
I recently stayed in a hotel in Bratislava and the price for my low-budget weekend stay was fantastic. The parking was also very convenient and reasonably priced. Despite the hotel being located outside the city center, I appreciated the quiet location and the lovely nearby lake. The breakfast wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was satisfying and included in the price.
The hotel itself was very dated and could definitely benefit from some renovations. The carpet in my room was quite dirty, and the furniture was old and worn out.

Girl at reception (Jara I think?) was excellent, very friendly and polite and took her time trying to help us negotiate the transport systems etc. Good location for a day trip into Bratislava too. Breakfast was good and hot food replenished regularly, hotel was generally clean and pleasant
Outdated decor, no international plug adaptors available- though I should stress that these are rather picky points and did not reduce my opinion of the hotel.

Next to the hotel is a great pool - good refreshing in a hot day.

This hotel is suited for travelers on a budget, with a nice location near an artificial lake and just a short distance from the city center. the breakfast is decent, with fresh bread, cheese, and meats available. the staff is friendly and helpful, providing a comfortable stay.
The room facilities and amenities are outdated and in need of repair, such as missing curtains in the showers, broken door locks, and shabby bathrooms.

I stayed there during ice-hockey championship. So location was really close to Orange arena.
I would say this is rather 2 star level hotel :)

The location is very nice near a beautiful lake with fishes, the staff is nice, the rooms are clean, the parking is free, internet wireless is free in the room. There is a supermarket nearby in case you need anything.
The breakfast is very basic and it is the same everyday. If you stay only 2-3 days it is perfect but if you stay longer as I did, you will be bored by the same menu everyday. The location is about 30 mn of walking to the center of the city but if you have a car as I did it is not a problem. The furniture is old but is clean. It is a little beat noisy as the rooms doors are sharing a large open space in the middle of the building(which is built somehow in the letter "U" shape) and there is a bar at the ground floor.

The hotel is very humble, old, the door of the bathroom doesn't close. The tv is from the 70's . there's no fridge, you have no place to put the shampoo or the towel when your taking a bath. Worst hotel, but you'll live with it.
